If a project is canceled before work begins, a refund may be considered at my discretion, minus any payment processing fees, administrative costs, scheduled time, or expenses already incurred.
Hourly Work
Hourly work is billed for time spent performing the requested service.
Refunds are not provided for completed hourly work, including time spent researching, troubleshooting, reviewing access, testing, communicating, planning, diagnosing problems, writing code, configuring systems, or documenting findings.
If you choose to stop hourly work before completion, you remain responsible for payment for all time already spent.
Fixed-Price Projects
Fixed-price projects are based on an agreed scope of work.
If a fixed-price project is canceled after work has started, any refund request will be reviewed based on the amount of work completed, time spent, expenses incurred, and the terms of the written agreement.
Completed portions of a project are not refundable. If the work completed exceeds the amount already paid, additional payment may still be due.
Emergency Services
Emergency services are generally non-refundable once work begins.
Emergency services may include urgent troubleshooting, website recovery, malware investigation, downtime review, server repair, security incident review, broken website repair, or other time-sensitive technical work.
Emergency work often requires immediate availability, technical review, and time-sensitive action. Payment is for the time, availability, and professional effort involved, not for a guaranteed outcome.
Consulting and Advice
Consulting fees are generally non-refundable once the consultation has started or the requested advice, review, recommendation, or analysis has been provided.
Consulting may include technical opinions, planning guidance, architecture review, website recommendations, security recommendations, server review, code review, software advice, or other professional input.
Payment for consulting is based on time, experience, review, and professional judgment. It does not guarantee a specific business result, technical result, ranking improvement, revenue increase, security outcome, or third-party approval.
Digital Products and Licenses
Refunds for digital products, software licenses, downloadable files, scripts, templates, documentation, or other digital materials may be limited once access has been provided, files have been downloaded, license keys have been issued, or activation has occurred.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, digital products and software licenses are non-refundable after delivery, download, activation, or access has been granted.

I do not guarantee search rankings, traffic levels, revenue, conversions, uptime, speed scores, advertising performance, complete malware removal in every case, permanent security protection, third-party approval, or compatibility with every hosting environment, plugin, theme, browser, device, or service.
